Thursday November 13th - We welcome back Hemp & Denim! Nashville Music Awards Outstanding Duo of the Year Hemp & Denim are a seasoned vocal group composed of singer/songwriter Hemp Meadows and his wife, vocalist Denim Skye. With a rich history rooted in the golden age of music, they bring a unique blend of British rock and California pop that evokes the sounds of the 60s and 70s while infusing it with contemporary flair. Hemp & Denim’s music is a fusion of classic rock nostalgia and modern sensibilities, offering both a tribute to the past and a fresh inspiration for today’s audiences.

Mixing funky Motown bass lines and drum beats with traditional country instruments, Julielle blends a unique cocktail of genres including country, pop, soul, and 60s/70s Rock. 

Julielle draws performance inspiration from several years of musical theater throughout her childhood and singing for an Indie Rock band in Santa Barbara, CA. Since moving to Nashville in June of 2022, she has found a love for the "funky" sound from attending Motown Monday at the 5 Spot in East Nashville. She has recorded a 4 song EP and has enjoyed playing live shows around Nashville and sharing her music on the road! Her soulful, groovy sound combines infectious melodies with raw, highly personal lyrics and is a refreshing addition to the modern country music scene.

Much like the space for women in modern country music, Julielle’s sound is constantly evolving and pushing boundaries.

Ben Cannon is a singer-songwriter from Franklin, TN. Born into a family of musicians, music runs deep in his blood. Ben is known for his energetic live shows that captivate audiences. Blending country, folk, and pop with a signature country twist, Ben delivers a dynamic performance—whether it’s an upbeat set or a more intimate, mellow vibe. His soulful, rich voice brings life to both crowd-favorite covers and his hauntingly melodic originals, each telling a unique story.

Joey Sykes started out in New York and got his big break as the lead guitarist in the band Coward signed to Elektra Records and Warner-Chapel Publishing, touring with Third Eye Blind.  When Joey plays at Kokomo, he plays all styles of popular music, mostly leaning towards Beatles, Tom Petty, Jackson Browne, Coldplay, Eagles, Rolling Stones, etc. He is also a touring guitar player for the legendary classic rock group THE BABYS.

Patrick McCormic is a songwriter based in Franklin, TN. Born in Louisiana and raised in both California and Alabama, Patrick developed his passion for music through a love of Americana, fun country, and the long-lost genre of adult contemporary. He describes his unique style as “Southern Alternative,” aiming to bring together the sounds that shaped him.His influences are wide-ranging and deeply rooted in the tapes and CDs that filled his home while growing up. These early inspirations not only defined his creative style but also had a profound impact on who he is as a person, both musically and personally.

Friends since the early 90s, Scott Wilson and Brandon Boozer form an acoustic duo covering  songs from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Many you'll know and some will seem new, but all are great songs that deserve to be heard.

Dawson Wayne is playing at Kokomo on Friday Dec 12th, and we are excited to have him. This will be his first night on the Kokomo Stage so come out and support!

Sarah Kristine is a Nashville based artist and songwriter who grew up in Peachtree City, Georgia. Her musical journey began both at home and in the church. Being from a musical family, she began writing songs at an early age and singing with her family. While she grew up saturated in music, it wasn't until her late college years when she began pursing a career in songwriting and artistry.

Since moving to Nashville, the independent artist has had a variety of opportunities to put out both cover songs and original music. Her songs can be described as deeply heartfelt and meaningful, tackling matters of love, life, and heartbreak. The covers that have been released offer only a small glimpse into the stylings of more original music to come.

Pepper Brooks grew up in small town Alabama. While overseas serving his country in the U.S. Army Pepper purchased his very first guitar and started teaching himself how to play. 

Since moving to Nashville he has worked with a list of talented artists and recently recorded his debut album at the world famous “Dark Horse Studios”. He has also made recordings at “We the People Productions” and at “Hidden Creek Studios”. He has wrote songs with some well known song writers such as Jason Wyatt, Corey Lee Barker (aka Christmas Corey) and many many others. 

2024 brought in new and exciting opportunities where he received his first award from ISSA for Single of the Year “America I Miss You". Later in the year his song “Old Fashioned Therapy” won best traditional country song from WSA.

David Brookings has been around. Originally from Richmond, VA., he has put out multiple albums of original material under both his own name and as frontman of David Brookings and the Average Lookings. At solo acoustic shows he plays covers from the ’60-‘90s and beyond, mixing song selections from the Rock, Country, and Pop genres. He has recently moved to Nashville from L.A., but before that lived in Memphis, TN. where he was a tour guide at Sun Studio (Elvis, Johnny Cash, etc.). So the recent move to Nashville is a homecoming of sorts, back to the great state of Tennessee.

Drew Pulliam is a folk/rock singer-songwriter from Jonesboro, Arkansas. Growing up in the local theatre there, he’s been surrounded by the arts and performing on stage his entire life. Drew met Mississippi hit songwriter Steve Azar when he was 16 and has been working under Steve’s tutelage ever since. Drew has released two EP’s, 16 Going On 60 and Like a Dream, and released a full album in September of 2025.
